FIRE RESISTANT

Fire Reistant Cables are a type of Instrumentation Cables that can be utilized when a particolar resistance to fire is requiest. Usually they take place in industrial plants as rafinery or petrol deposit. They can be screened, armoured, laid up in pairs, triads, quads etc. The conductors cover is made by Mica-glass Tape.

CONDUCTORS:

Solid (class 1), Stranded (class 2), Flexible (class 5) copper wires according to CEI 20-29 (Table 8).

INSULATION:

G10 type cross linked rubber, acc. to CEI 20-11CEI 20-38/I.

FLAME PROTECTION:

Mica glass tape, with a tickness > 0,10 mm.

FIRE CHARACTERISTIC:

Fire resistant acc. to CEI 20-36 (Table 10). Flame retardant acc. to CEI 20-22/III.
